Bro. John Armstrong was a Freemason, co-founding member of Lodge Temperance 2557, our first Senior Warden and Treasurer for 29 years. He was also a Past Master of Lodge of Industry No. 48, co-founder and first Worshipful Master of Northbourne Lodge No 3241 and co-founder and first Worshipful Master of Lodge Prudence 3424.
