George William Hails
On a recent shortcut through Byker and Heaton Cemetery we discovered a family grave with a masonic connection.
The Hails family grave which records the deaths of several generations of the family, also has an image of George William Hails who died February 7th 1974. It is clear from the image that George was a Freemason although it’s not possible to see which Lodge he belonged to.
