Our regular meeting held on Tuesday 17th June was a resounding success with an excellent 1st degree and a memorable evening. Thank you to all our visiting brethren, especially to Bros Douglas, John, Tom and Bert who made the long journey from north of the border and our first time visitors.
Congratulations to Bro Simon on his initiation into the mysteries and privileges of ancient freemasonry and well done to the degree team with special mention to Bro Dr. Chris for his work as Junior Deacon and presenting and explaining the working tools.
Sadly, WBro John, our Junior Warden, announced his resignation due to personal circumstances. The Worship Master expressed the heartfelt thanks of the Brethren for his long and dedicate service to the Lodge. He will be sorely missed and we all wish him well for the future.
Regrettably two members were excluded by ballot for being in arrears, but on a more positive note, WBro Chris was unanimously re-elected as Master for the ensuing year and Wbro Peter as treasurer.
