The Lodge has learned of the passing of Wbro Ron Hill formerly of Lodge Temperance 2557 who died last week on Thursday 17th January after a short fight with Leukaemia.
His funeral will be at the Whitley Bay crematorium on Thursday 30th January at 10.30 for those interested in attending.
Wbro Ron was a past master of Lodge Temperance 2557 in 1988 and again in 1994. He presented the Lodge with a new banner in February 1983 made by Bro Ron who was a steward of the lodge at the time. You can read more about the Lodge banner and Wbro Ron’s contribution here.
