Wbro Alan Bell our Senior Warden travelled to London on the 27th April to attend the Annual Craft Investiture and Grand Festival at the United Grand Lodge of England’s Freemasons Hall.
He was invested with the Grand Rank of Past Assistant Grand Director of Ceremonies which was conferred by the MW the Grand Master HRH the Duke of Kent, KG in a ceremony attended by some 400 recipients from around the world, including The Cayman Islands, Bombay and Nigeria.
Wbro Alan then attended the Grand Festival in the evening, consisting of a meal along with the appropriate toasts. Wbro Alan commented that in all it was quite an experience.
