Following a meeting of the Craft Rulers and the Standing Committee of the Board of General Purposes, and in consultation with the Royal Arch Rulers and the President of the Committee of General Purposes, it has been decided to restrict English Lodge and Chapter meetings to no more than six attendees.

Congratulations to all those brethren of the Province of Northumberland who received letters of appointment to and promotion in Provincial Grand Rank, last week.

In the light of the current circumstances Province have decided that it is not feasible for the Festival Celebration Event to go ahead on the 3rd October 2020.

Freemasons’ COVID-19 Community Fund’ raises money for charities and projects that are helping people through the current coronavirus pandemic.

We have just been informed by W.Bro Jim Irvine’s daughter, Lynn, that he passed away peacefully this morning at 10.30.

Effective the 17th March all Lodge meetings have been suspended for a period of four months.

Our Senior Deacon, Bro Mark Richardson is fundraising for the Northumbria Blood Bikes 360 challenge which will be held on Saturday 16th May 2020.

The Lodge has learned of the passing of Wbro Ron Hill formerly of Lodge Temperance 2557 who died last week on Thursday 17th January.

A reminder that our December meeting is on Tuesday 17th with the earlier start of 6.30, followed by our fabulous festive celebration.
