One of our new members, Bro Adam, organised a charity walk in support of Andy’s Man Club, a men’s suicide prevention charity, offering free-to-attend peer-to-peer support groups across the United Kingdom and online. They want to end the stigma surrounding men’s mental health and help men through the power of conversation.
On the 17th November at 10 am Bro Adam was joined by around fifty supporters at Souter lighthouse, Sunderland to complete a 10K (6.4 miles) circular walk starting and ending at the lighthouse.
Bro Adam is pleased to report that £1120 was raised including the £100 donated by Lodge Temperance 2557.
