Lodge Temperance Reaches New Heights!
Recently three members of Lodge Temperance along with Andy Wilson set off to Fort William to tackle Ben Nevis in a practice climb to help Bro Chris prepare for his challenge in September to climb Kilimanjaro for Josie’s Dragonfly Trust. You can read more about Bro Chris’s wander up Kilimanjaro here.
Ben Nevis is the highest mountain in the British Isles and stands at 1,345 metres above sea level. It is at the western end of the Grampian Mountains in the Lochaber area of the Scottish Highlands close to the town of Fort William. The walk up and down is just over 4 miles each way, so a total of around 81/2 miles.
What a fantastic day and achievement and well done to Bros Tom and Keith and Andy in supporting Bro Chris in his epic quest in September.
Please take a look at Bro Chris’s Just Giving page and give as much as you can as every donation helps.

All fresh and ready to tackle Ben Nevis the highest mountain in the UK although Bro Tom commented “We were not this fresh once we reached the summit I don’t mind telling you!”
