#OnThisDay LCpl Joseph Glass
Bro Joseph Glass was a Freemason and member of Lodge Temperance 2557 when his life was cut short in the final year of the First World War at the battle of Arras on the 22nd March 1918.
Lance Corporal Joseph Glass No 38356 10th/11th Battalion Highland Light Infantry, is commemorated on Bay 8 of the Arras Memorial to the missing.
Sadly he is not listed on the Lodge Temperance 2557 handwritten Roll of Honour but is mentioned in the minutes of the Lodge as having made the ultimate sacrifice for his country.
