The festive season certainly got off to a fantastic start with the Lodge Temperance Christmas evening. Wow! What a great night. And thank you all for coming and making the evening such a success. It was also great to see so many from St Nicholas Lodge joining us for the occasion.
The three course meal was yet another triumph from Brendan and as one guest commented, “The best Christmas meal this year”.
The outstanding duo, Lou and Rachel “Along Came Lola”, provided the entertainment with a mix of Christmas and poplar songs that had many guests up dancing. Bro Terry organised the raffle which raised £100 for the Northumberland Masonic Charity Association and more for other charitable causes. Many thanks to all those who donated the raffle prizes and a big thank you to Bro Kevin and his Lady Lynda for providing the crackers and table nibbles and to Bro Dr Chris and his Lady Catharine for sorting out the entertainment and the quiz.
