We have been informed of a Church Service to commemorate the 75th anniversary of the Tarsett Street Tragedy.
A member of Carliol Lodge No 5419 (Lawrence Barclay Young) was one of the gallant men involved and he was awarded the George Medal for his part.
The service will be held at 1.00pm on Tuesday 31st May 2016 at St Ann`s Church, City Road, Newcastle, NE1 6DD and any interested Brother is welcome to attend.
The Lord Mayor and a DL will also be in attendance.
