Congratulations to Wbro Keith Newman our Chaplain for his 30 years in the Craft this year. Wbro Keith was initiated into Freemasonry and Lodge Temperance 2557 on 28th February 1986 and was Master of the Lodge two times in 1992 and 2000. For Provincial Rank in the Craft he was appointed Past Provincial Grand Superintendent of Works. He was selected as the Lodge secretary in 1994 a position he held for seventeen years.
During a recent review of the Lodge Declaration Book (this is the book that all new members sign before their initiation), Wbro Keith identified eleven candidates he had proposed. This has to be a record for our Lodge and at our June meeting we will be initiating Mr Cumberland another of Wbro Keith’s candidates bringing that total to twelve. Keep up the good work Keith!
