We would like to take this opportunity to congratulate our newest Entered Apprentice Bro Steven Nelson who was initiated into the mysteries and privileges of Ancient Freemasonry at our regular meeting on Tuesday the 19th April 2016.
The Worshipful Master first welcomed the visitors and in particular Wbro Ian, PProv GStB of Welwyn Garden City Lodge No 5748 who had travelled from the south to witness the initiation of Bro Steven.
The ceremony performed to our usual high standards by the Worshipful Master was ably assisted by WBro Kevin who gave the address in the north east corner, WBro Peter who did the signs and secrets and Wbro Ian who gave an explanation of the degree at the end of the ceremony from the ritual of his mother Lodge, Welwyn Garden City Lodge No. 5748. A special mention to our Junior Warden, Bro Dr Chris who gave the tools and charge without fault.
Bro. Steve lives in Whitley Bay with his wife Karen and two children. Bro Steve and Karen run Newcastle IT firm Calibre Secured Networks Ltd. Based in Newcastle tech hub Science Central, the firm provides IT, network support services and online security expertise to customers across the UK and Europe. You can check out their website here
