The Masonic Charitable Foundation (MCF) was launched on 1st April. United Grand Lodge of England advises that there will be no real change in the support available but a simpler, easier to understand, easier to access, more efficient and more responsive organisation delivering that support has been created. Each year, assistance is provided to over 5000 Freemasons and their families, amounting to £15.5 million last year.
In addition to the support given to the Masonic community, MCF will look to allocate between £3.5 m and £5 m per year to non – masonic causes. Further information is available from your Charity Steward and Almoner.
