With the release of the membership registers 1751-1921 from the collection of the United Grand Lodge of England held by the Library and Museum on the Ancestry website, we have updated the biographies of our Founding members. See our previous post here.
This update includes the details of their three degrees along with membership of other Lodges. It is worth noting that several of our Founding members were also petitioners and founding members of other Lodges, Bro Robert English Womphrey being the most active. Coming soon is the Biography of Founding member Bro Samuel Ferguson Davidson a building contractor involved with the construction of many famous buildings including the Spanish City at Whitley Bay.
