Northern Ireland update
We’ve all done it, filed that interesting document away for safe keeping, then forgetting all about it. Fortunately, one of our members recently came across a copy of the newspaper article on the Lodge Temperance visit to Northern Ireland among his papers. The Northern Ireland Sentinel of April 13, 2005 carried a full page report of our visit to the area, although strangely, we are referred to as “Newcastle’s Net Masonic Lodge”, with a group photo outside St Columb’s Cathedral.
A copy of the article has been added to the website and while it’s not the best copy, you might be able to make out some members still with the lodge. You can see the article here or go to “History” then “Northern Ireland” and scroll down.
Keep checking back for all the latest news and events for Lodge Temperance 2557.
