Back in 1994, Salem Lodge No 1443 wrote to Lodge Temperance enclosing some Masonic effects of Bro James Cuthbert. These, including his Grand Lodge certificate and photograph of him in his Chapter regalia, were found in the belongings of Bro James’s daughter, Mrs. Joy Peeke after she died and were passed to the wife of one of the Past Masters of Salem Lodge.
