Two of our members, Wbros Peter and Terry, recently made the short journey to Low Fell, Gateshead to visit Mrs. Lilian Beathams, the daughter of our late Bro. Russell Spooner PProvGStw who died peacefully in hospital on Sunday 23rd February 2014, aged 91 years. Mrs. Beathams kindly agreed to donate her father’s Masonic regalia and books to Lodge Temperance 2557 and the visit was to collect the same.
Lodge Temperance 2557 will look after Bro Russell’s Provincial Grand Stewart’s apron, Chapter apron and ritual books until they can be passed on to a suitable brother.
The Worshipful Master, officers and brethren of Lodge Temperance thank Mrs. Beathams and her brother for donating Bro Russell’s masonic items to the Lodge.
