Brethren of Lodge Temperance with Bro Russell Spooner’s 50 year Certificate

The sad occasion of Bro Russell Spooner’s funeral was attended by five members of Lodge Temperance 2557.
Russell was the longest serving member of Lodge Temperance and in December reached the momentous milestone of 50 years in Freemasonry. Sadly, due to failing health we were unable to present him with his 50 year certificate so after the funeral service, WBro. Terry Keddy, on behalf of the Brethren of Lodge Temperance, handed the certificate to his daughter Lilian.
Bro. Gordon Newman also made a donation from Lodge Temperance to Arthritis Care, the family’s chosen charity.
The Worshipful Master, Officers and Brethren of Lodge Temperance 2557 extend their heartfelt sympathies to his family.
